Giancarlo Caruso is a native of Milan a former student of Italian History from which he takes his inspiration.

Giancarlo commented " Milano is the undoubted center of the fashion universe and its position is unlikely ever to be challenged Due to the rich tapestry of inspiration that extends over several Italian Dynasties. This season collection is inspired by the Visconti Dynasty which ruled the Dutchy of Milan during the period 1227 to 1447. They were responsible for the construction of the Duom, or Milan Cathedral, and their holdings included many other cities, notably Pavia, Verona, all of Lombardy, Como, Ticino and Pisa.
